Lot 728

1882-S. PCGS graded MS-66. Semi-prooflike on the obverse with a hint of light gold toning. A sparkling coin bursting with luster, virtually untoned and dazzling in appearance. The surfaces are clear of marks. Taking stock of another key aspect of the grade, this piece has knife-edged devices throughout, including centers, rather than a soft, mushy strike as most often seen on dates in the 1880s (PCGS # 7140) .
Estimated Value $250 - 300.
