Lot 242

1817 N-3 R2 PCGS graded AU53. Double Profile. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate mottled with puffs of darker olive brown on the obverse. Traces of frosty lighter tan show in protected areas on the reverse. No marks or roughness. E-MDS, before any trace of the "Mouse" break on top of the head. There is a sharp, clear double profile from the tip of the coronet down to the bust with additional doubling on the date, LIBER, and stars 7-13.
