Hadrian. Gold Aureus (7.3 g), AD 117-138. Rome, ca. AD 124-128. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate bust of Hadrian right, slight drapery on far shoulder. Reverse: COS III, emperor on horseback riding right, extending arm in salute. RIC 186; BMC 433; Calicó 1215a. Struck in high relief and perfectly centered. A lovely example for the grade. Choice Very Fine.
