1802 S-231 R1 Stemless Wreath PCGS graded AU53. Frosty medium brown with steel brown toning on the highpoints. There is a spot of reddish corrosion on the ribbon end left of the fraction bar plus a tiny spot of microscopic roughness under the N in UNITED. Otherwise this piece is choice with excellent eye appeal. Sharply struck MDS, Breen state IV, with a pair of fine die cracks in the field before the portrait. The date and legends are bold. Our grade is EF40 sharpness net VF30. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
