1801 S-223 R1 Error Fraction 1/000 F15+. Sharpness EF40 but covered with extremely fine roughness under mostly glossy dark olive brown toning. There is ample verdigris caked into protected areas on the reverse while the obverse is mostly free of distractions. The only mark is a tiny, very light rim bruise at the F in OF. E-MDS, Breen state III, with a thin rim cud over IB and a stronger one at RTY. The date is bold and the legends are strong, including the error denominator.
