Lot 176

1801 S-221 R2 Corrected Denominator 100 over 000 VG10+. Sharpness F15 but the planchet is covered with uniform microscopic granularity under attractive glossy chocolate brown toning. No verdigris, but there are a few very light rim bruises on the left side of the obverse and an old scratch from the E in ONE to the N in UNITED. M-LDS Breen state IV, with clearly defined rim cud breaks at F-AM. The date is bold and the legends are complete, although the denominator is weak due to an uneven strike on that side. A popular "Redbook" variety.
Estimated Value $100-UP.

Realized $188
