1794 C-9 R2 VG7. The obverse is a bit better while the reverse is slightly weaker thanks to an uneven strike on that side. Rather glossy reddish chocolate brown with lighter steel brown toning on the devices. The surfaces appear smooth to the unaided eye, but a glass reveals traces of microscopic granularity on both sides. No verdigris. A minor rim bruise over OF is the only notable mark. The 94 is strong but the 17 was weakly struck and is faint.
