1909-S. NGC graded MS-65. Lovely shades of rich golden toning. This issue comes with outstanding luster and eye appeal as seen here, which is all the more pleasing when found on a beautifully preserved gem like this! This date is plentiful today, but most fall well short of the jewel like quality here, and gems are elusive. A handsome coin for the date collector! Pop 227; 16 finer (PCGS # 9153) .
