1798 S-153 R3 Large 8, Style I Hair PCGS graded VF20. Attractive glossy chocolate and steel brown with lighter steel brown toning covering the devices. The surfaces are smooth and this cent offers excellent eye appeal. The only marks are a few hairline scratches hidden in the hair, several more in the field behind the head, and a tiny rim bruise at the bottom of the reverse. Nicely struck EDS, Breen state I. The date and legends are strong and the dies are uncracked. Our grade is F15+, close to VF20. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
