Original Series, $2 National Bank Note. The First NB of Warren, RI. Ch. #673. Fine. Fr-387. KL-1093. This nice circulated "Lazy Deuce" is the first example of this denomination to appear from this bank. Unlike most early notes which usually come with the tight "New England trim" that has become synonymous with notes from this region, this example has decent margins and a pleasing appearance overall. This design type is always popular with collectors, and there never seem to be enough to supply the demand.
