Lot 1138

1888-S. PCGS graded MS-66. A nice white gem with semi-reflective fields and one of the finest of this date and mint. Although several bags were discovered of 1888-S Morgan dollars, most fall into much lower grades and are less desirable than is satiny jewel. PCGS notes only 26 graded as MS-66 with five finer (2 as MS-66+ and 3 as MS-67). At this lofty grade this is clearly a major condition rarity! Make sure to bid high if you hope to capture this impressive coin (PCGS # 7186) .
Estimated Value $6,500 - 7,000.

Realized $8,225
