Léger, Fernand (1881-1955) French painter, sculptor, and filmmaker. Autograph manuscript signed, 1 page, 6¾ x 5¼ in., n.p., n.d. "To develop your project, 'Men in Space,' I would need a WALL. Who will give me this WALL?" Beneath his signature and an extensive paraph, Léger sketched a train with three cars, traveling downhill.
