1804 C-8 R1 Spiked Chin PCGS graded AU58. Frosty steel brown and chocolate with traces of reddish brown toning in protected areas on both sides, mostly on the obverse. Satiny mint luster covers the protected areas. The only notable marks are a few tiny specks of darker toning in the field off the chin and a tiny horizontal nick on the front edge of the neck. MDS, Manley state 3.0, with a die crack through the top of LIBERTY. The "Spiked Chin" feature is obvious. Our grade is AU55. The attribution is shown on the PCGS label.
Estimated Value $800-UP.
Ex Tom Reynolds.
