Lot 1884

1910. PCGS graded Proof 64. Boldly struck and untoned. Only 250 struck, with about 60 to 75 examples estimated to have survived. What became of the majority of this issue in proof remains a mystery. Here is a splendid example that offers the rich bright yellow or Roman gold finish seen on most of the proofs released in 1910 of this denomination. The strike is sharp throughout, and the surfaces a delight to examine. Collectible quality and desirable in every regard. Pop 12; 11 finer, 7 in 65, 3 in 66, 1 in 67+. (PCGS # 8541) .
Estimated Value $15,000 - 16,000.

Realized $21,150
