Lot 154

1835 C-1 R1 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous bluish steel and light olive fading down from mint red with 10% of the mint color remaining on the obverse and nearly half the red showing on the reverse. This piece would rate a grade several points higher except for a small spot of extremely faint roughness in the field left of star 9. LDS, Manley state 2.0, with clear die clashmarks on both sides. The repunching on the 5 is clear. Our grade is MS60. The attribution is shown on the PCGS label.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
