Lot 1461

1880-O. PCGS graded MS-65. An attractive white coin. Difficult to find this nice and a classic condition rarity at the gem or finer level. It is indeed curious that so many exist in choice or so condition, but at the gem grade level the numbers tail off to virtually none. Here is one of the best and destined for an advanced Set Registry collection and a prize to represent this key New Orleans condition rarity. Pop 34; 4 finer, 3 in 65+, 1 in 66 (PCGS # 7114) .
Estimated Value $24,000 - 26,000.
