1879. PCGS graded Proof 65. Lovely rainbow toning of teal and russet on both sides. The strike is sharp as expected for a proof, and this is he first year of the proof only coinage of this series. Gems are in high demand, especially so when they have such appealing toning to match the gem quality surfaces. Only 1,541 struck (PCGS # 7059) .
