1863. PCGS graded Proof 65. Lovely blue and gold toning. A rare proof issue that was struck during the depths of the Civil War. Somehow the surfaces were preserved at the gem level, and today exhibit little sign of age beyond magnificent iridescent hues. A powerful example of this scarce issue, and one that will be a focal point of an advanced Liberty Seated dollar collection. Only 460 struck. Pop 6; 9 finer, 8 in 66, 1 in 66+. (PCGS # 7006) .
Estimated Value $12,000 - 13,000.

Realized $13,513
