1826 C-2 R3+ Repunched 6. PCGS graded AU-58 Plus. Glossy mix of medium brown and tan with reddish steel brown toning along the right side of the obverse. The highpoints are a slightly darker shade of steel brown and traces of golden tan faded down from mint color show in protected areas on the reverse. The only notable mark is an arc of very dark steel toning at the ES in STATES. E-MDS Manley state 2.0. The fine repunching on the 6 is clear and light die clashmarks show inside the wreath. Our grade is EF45 (PCGS # 1144) .
