Lot 1319

1897. PCGS graded MS-66. Lovely light blue toning. This is one of the finer examples of this date and mint seen by PCGS and would be a perfect selection to represent the type. The strike is sharp throughout, and the surfaces are free of all but a few minor grazes. Impressive appeal for a Barber half dollar, and worth a strong bid for these qualities. Pop 11; 3 finer, 1 in 66+, 2 in 67. (PCGS # 6477) .
Estimated Value $4,500 - 5,000.

Realized $4,700
