1917-S. Type 1. PCGS graded MS-66 Full Head. Frosty and untoned. Small gold streak near the shield. A satiny and wholesome example of this scarce San Francisco issue. Notable is the full strike on Liberty's head as well as the shield, and the surfaces are attractive and free of all but minute signs of handling. Pop 77; 16 finer, 4 in 66+, 10 in 67, 2 in 67+. (PCGS # 5711) .
