1859. NGC graded Proof 65. Lovely lilac obverse toning while the reverse is blue. A condition rarity at the Gem grade and one of the finer surviving examples of this early Proof issue. The toning is simply stunning, and the strike is full and complete. An exceptional coin that will well represent this date or type in any advanced collection. Only 800 struck. Pop 21; 19 finer, 15 in 66, 3 in 67, 1 in 67 Star.
