Lot 1187

1825, 5 over 4. B-2. NGC graded MS-63. Virtually untoned and boldly struck throughout. The obverse and reverse are delightful in their satin sheen of luster, with each of Liberty's curls well defined as well as the eagle's feathers. A pale blush of gold is noted through the word UNITED, and a scarce issue at the Choice or finer grade level. A glorious example of this condition rarity. Pop 4; 11 finer for the variety, 7 in 64, 2 in 65, 2 in 66.
Estimated Value $5,000 - 5,500.

Realized $5,170
