1883. Without "CENTS". PCGS graded Proof 67 PQ. CAC Approved. Lovely rich rainbow toning of orange and gold primarily, with tinges of iridescence near the rims. Only 5,219 struck, and this specimen is one of the absolute finest certified by PCGS. It is a single year type coin as well, as the word CENTS was soon added to the base of the reverse in late 1883, which continued through the end of the Liberty nickel series. Pop 5; 1 finer in 67+. (PCGS # 3878) .
Estimated Value $5,000-UP.
