Trio of Counterfeit British Halfpennies, all Boldly Double Struck. Dates are 1773, 1774, and 1775. Grades range from VG7 to VG10. Each has a second strike that is significantly off center creating a dramatic mint error. Weights range from 87.1 to 126.8 grains. These were used in colonial America and are discussed on pages 65-66 in the "Redbook." Lot of 3 coins.
