Lot 2079

1932. PCGS graded MS-65+. A splendid Gem with delicate rose-golden patina only visible when closely examined. The surfaces are uncommonly smooth with fully metallic, warm golden features. This is a strongly struck example of the last affordable Indian ten (the 1933 is a very expensive rarity), with excellent detail on all the important highpoints. Three tiny parallel abrasions on the eagle's wing on the reverse limit this Gem from an even higher Superb rating (PCGS # 8884) .
Estimated Value $3,000 - 3,200.

Realized $2,938
