1851-O. NGC graded AU-58. An attractive near-Mint example of this popular New Orleans issue with lightly marked red-orange and golden surfaces that retain traces of mint luster. The design elements are sharply detailed in most areas, but a touch of softness is evident on the obverse stars, as is typical of the issue. Currently, NGC has graded just 19 finer pieces.
