1962. NGC graded Proof 69 Ultra Cameo. Outstanding black-on-white surfaces are a sight to behold on this Proof 69 Ultra Cameo Franklin half. Even close examination with magnification fails to reveal any distractions. In his Complete Guide to Franklin Half Dollars, Rick Tomaska, writing about Proof 67-68 NGC Ultra Cameo and PCGS Deep Cameo 1962 Franklins, says: "Flawless or near-flawless 1962 proof Franklins, with extremely heavy snow-white frost on both obverse and reverse are very elusive coins."
