Doty, Neal V. Smooth Operator. Original mixed media painting on canvas, signed "Doty" at lower right, 28" x 22", c. 2003. Neal Doty was born in 1941, in Glendale, California. He studied at the Art Center School of Design (Los Angeles, 1967) and was also a student of the late Ben Duer. Mr. Doty has "pushed the envelope" with his unique and innovative painting techniques and has a vast body of work collected around the world.
