1879-CC. MS-63. In the original GSA black holder. Scarce date. Always difficult in choice Mint condition, most of this issue circulated and comes well worn today, typically Very Good to Fine. The Mint quality specimens were from a group released by the Government Services Administration (Treasury Hoard of CC-mint dollars of various dates) sold in the early 1970s. Well struck for the issue. Normal light bagmarks but with crisp silvery color.
