Lot 67

1802 NC-1 R5+ AG3. Slightly glossy chocolate brown and steel with slightly lighter brown toning on the highpoints of the obverse. The devices are smooth but the fields and protected areas display numerous tiny pits and microscopic granularity. No verdigris or notable signs of contact. E-MDS, Breen state II. The die crack from the B in LIBERTY into the hair is visible. The date is weak but readable and most of the legends are easily readable except for UNITED STATES, which are faint.
Estimated Value $200-UP.
