Anonymous. Silver Didrachm (6.62 g), ca. 225-214 BC. Uncertain mint. Laureate head of Janus; below, pellet. Reverse :: [R]OMA partly incuse and partly raised on solid tablet in exergue, Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in galloping quadriga right driven by Victory. Crawford 31/1; Sydenham 64c; RSC 23a. An area of weakness on the reverse rim. Extremely Fine/Very Fine.
