1836 Capped Bust Dime. . R-3. MS-60. Choice and flashy on both sides, but there is a small scrape on Liberty's face into the field under her nose and another scrape before here neck. A couple of other minor scrapes are visible on the obverse rims. These marks identify this coin as the plate coin used for Early United States Dimes 1796-1837. Delightful sea green and antique gray toning on both sides, and with a wonderful "look" that will appeal to any collector who likes toned coins.
