Phrygian, circa 8th-6th Century B.C., Gold Bow Type Fibula. From the west-central part of Anatolia (Turkey). The Phrygians are most famous for their legendary kings of the heroic age. Phrygian power reached its zenith during the 8th century B.C. under Midas, who turned whatever he touched to gold.
Superb condition. Can be worn as a pin. Very rare.
