Pisarro, Camille (1830-1903) Danish-French Impressionist, Neo-Impressionist and Pointillist painter, considered a father figure to the first two groups; he was the only artist to show his work at all eight Paris Impressionist exhibitions, from 1874 to 1886.

Autograph letter signed ("C. Pissarro") on black-bordered stationery, 1p, in French, 6¾ x 4½", Paris, June 2, 1898. To an unidentified correspondent, "I am at the hotel every morning from 10 to 11 o'clock. I will only be in Paris for two more days…." Very fine. Boldly penned and signed.
Estimated Value $700 - 900.
