Apollo CM Strobe Light (6x1.5", over 9ft cord), this strobe ws used on the Command Module Boiler Plate for a variety of tests including dropping the CM Boiler Plate in the ocean and then practicing recovery operations (photo of operation included). This was specifically used in the Gulf of Mexico ocean tests in 1968. Strobe is positioned under the "cone" in the top of the capsule and is exposed when parachutes deploy. Strobe still worked when last used in these tests. Made by GE Lighting Inc under NASA contract number 79997. Information sticker on strobe. Signed COA included. Estimated Value $400 - 600
