Maurice Seymour. Sally Rand. Four 8 x 10 in. photos of burlesque dancer and actress Sally Rand performing a balloon bubble dance. All have "Maurice Seymour Chicago" in the plate and large stamp on the back; one is cropped for newspaper use and has glue remnants on back. With a fifth Paramount publicity phto of Miss Rand performing a fan dance. Overall very good. "Maurice Seymour" was actually two brothers: Maurice (1900-93) and Seymour (1902-95) Zeldman, who came to Chicago from Russia in 1920. They opened a photography studio and specialized in film, theatre, and radio stars, international ballet stars (including the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo), and others. Estimated Value $100 - 150
