1936 Olympic Lamp & Ashtray. A brown glazed terra cotta lamp base in the shape of the German Olympic Bell, one of the major motifs of the '36 games used on many artifacts and printed items. Height to bulb socket (without bulb and shade) is 5.5"; round base diameter 3.25". With cord and an attractive custom made replacement shade. Uncertain if in working condition, but physically excellent. Also, a large heavy light blue glass ashtray with the '36 Olympic bell etched into the bottom; 4.5" square; height 1.5". Well used as intended, with a small chip. A scarce pair of table top items. Estimated Value $300 - 400
