Earp, Josephine (1861-1944) Common-law wife of famed lawman Wyatt Earp (1848-1929). Photograph of a distinguished-looking older Wyatt Earp, inscribed and signed on the verso by Josephine: "To Chester Detrich / If Wyatt were here nothing would make him more happy than I give you this picture. Josephine Earp." With small 1¾ x 2¾ in. photos of Wyatt and Josephine in their old age. The pair were together from 1882 until Wyatt's death in 1929. Estimated Value $500 - 750
