[Saddam Hussein] Portrait and Photo From the Presidential Palace in Tikrit. 10 x 12 in. thin metal (tin?) portrait of Saddam Hussein, held loosely in a 13½ x 15¼ in. frame; the portrait has seen some wear. Also, a 10 x 8 in. color photo of Saddam Hussein saluting one of his officers, and a booklet of approximately 14 pages with an anti-American message. These items were "emancipated" during the 2003 invasion of Iraq by a member of the 1st Marines while fighting at Saddam Hussein's palace in Tikrit.

The sales commission received from this item will be donated to K9s For Warriors, a non-profit group that provides and trains service dogs for American warriors with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury; 95% of the dogs come from rescue shelters. Estimated Value $200 - 300
