Caligula, AD 37-4. Bronze Sestertius (29.97g). Pietas, veiled and draped, seated left holding patera, l. arm resting on small facing figure. Reverse: Temple of Divus Augustus with Gaius veiled and togate, sacrifices with patera over garlanded altar; one attendant leads bull to the altar; a second holds patera. Cayon 11; RIC 35. Rare NGC graded Fine, Strike: 5/5, Surface: 4/5. A very pleasing coin for the given grade. Estimated Value $1,500 - 1,700
