An exciting example of a relatively straightforward date in the Franklin Half Dollar series, this untoned blazing gem displaying vivid mirrors against which rise well frosted devices. Clearly, an early strike by new dies. Furthermore, it being a Proof, this is a well-struck example with excellent details.
