1895. PCGS graded Proof 67 Cameo. CAC Approved. Only 880 struck. Marvelous Cameo contrast. Bright satin finish devices surrounded by rolling mirror fields, mimicing the light that glints off it, reflecting it back into your eyes; the field sparkles as when first issued. Barber Quarters of this caliber are difficult to find, to say the least (notice the low census). Something perhaps worth pausing to study as well is the fact that all devices were struck with the usual and desirable consistency of Proof coinage this year, that is, sharply by the dies, which then left behind bold elements of detail throughout.
