1916-S. PCGS graded MS-66 PQ. CAC Approved. Well struck with light even toning. A satiny gem. Supple underlying luster is enveloped in pale natural color acquired over nearly a century. A pleasing example of the elusive '16-S date, completely struck, and with sufficient detail in the head, horn, and shoulder area of the reverse bison that designer Fraser's intentions are clearly evident. Almost everyone likes to seek a Buffalo Nickel that was struck with precision and care by the dies in the outer margins and on all high points, that you'd expect; here too, the inner designs were left even more crisply detailed by the imprint of the dies.
