1796 S-101 R5- Draped Bust F12. Sharpness VF20 with a splash of fine mixed with raised corrosion mixed with verdigris on the 96 in the date with similar splashes near the dentils before the chin and throat. The reverse is nicer with only a few small spots of similar roughness. Otherwise the planchet is smooth and shows only a few light contact marks. Rather glossy chocolate and steel brown with darker olive brown toning in the roughened areas. E-MDS, Breen state II. The date and legends are complete and easily readable.
