Lot 234
1794 S-57 R1 VG7. Sharpness VF20 but dull from microscopic granularity plus a few small patches of shallow corrosion on the reverse. There is a dull pinprick high on the neck plus a dozen more scattered over the reverse. Dark olive brown and steel with lighter chocolate toning on the highpoints. The date and legends are complete and clear. EDS, before the "trenches" occur in the field before the face.
