Deke Slayton’s Apollo/ Soyuz Wall Hanging – 4" mission patch, The patch is inserted in a recessed portion of the plaque with a clear protective cover over the top. The plaque measures 7 x 7 ½" and has a hook on the back side. This was obviously displayed in a place of honor by Slayton. Some slight wear on the wood does not detract. This lot also includes a medallion commemorating Apollo 11, measuring 2 1/2" with one side depicting the images of the crew and the reverse shows the LM on the Lunar surface.
