Marie Thérèse, Queen Consort of Louis XIV (1638-1683) Daughter of Philip IV of Spain and Elizabeth of France, she and Louis were first cousins; they married in 1660 and had six children, only one of whom (Louis, the dauphin) survived. Document signed as Queen of France and of Navarre, vellum, 17 x 10¾, Paris, 1 Sept. 1665. Making use of the powers confided to her by the King "Our much honored Lord and Husband," she confirms Gabriel Moudon (?) in his rights and authorizes him to exercise the profession of tool maker.
