Ben Gurion, Ben (1886-1973) Zionist statesman and political leader, the first prime minister of Israel (1948-53, 1955-63). Autograph letter signed ("D. Ben Gurion"), 1 page, 4½ x 8½ in., Tel-Aviv, 1 Dec. 1964. To Mrs. Mark Gerald in Haifa. In part, "I read your letter…and I must confess I don't agree with you. I am terribly sorry I cannot find the drawing you left with me in Hotel Sharon. Perhaps it is in Sdeh-Boker….if I find it there - it will be immediately sent you with my thanks." Accompanied by the transmittal envelope.
