Lucania, Velia. Silver Drachm (3.97g) ca. 440-400 BC. Head of nymph right, Γ retrograde behind her neck. Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing, just above olive sprig terminating in four large leaves. Williams 179; HN Italy 1272; SNG Ashmolean 1147. Beautiful iridescent toning. Extremely Fine.
